A munch is simply a lunch in a public restaurant - a friendly, non-threatening, social event where like-minded people gather in ordinary street clothes to have lunch together, get to know each other, and discuss their common interest in BDSM. It is no different than a lunch meeting of a book club or any other club -- except we might be more likely to be discussing the works of deSade. We might be talking about E.L. James' "Fifty Shades of Grey," but mostly because she got the safety aspects wrong. We get together at munches to have fun, talk, and meet other folks in the scene.
